Graphite and Charcoal

Each drawing begins as a stream of consciousness expression, and then develops through a series of abstract marks and erasures. From these abstract forms recognizable shapes are derived and modeled. As the process continues, individually developed shapes are integrated into a cohesive whole, ending in a visual story. Each drawing contains very specific images and information, with messages presented in the forms of social satire, commentary, or mere observation.
